SC15 Prisma MK2 System Control Center User Guide

Your SC15 Prisma MK2 is supplied with:

• The Chromecast built-in Quick Start Guide
• Mains cable
• IR cable
• Trigger cable
• Antennas for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi
• C25 remote control with batteries
• AC Polarity Pen

If any of these items are missing please contact your supplier. We recommend you retain the packaging in case you need to transport the unit at a later date.

Note that the SC15 is supplied with a protective film on the display glass. Remove the film for a clearer whiter display.

Analogue outputs

The SC15 provides a fixed-level or variable-level analogue output on the ANALOG OUT output on RCA connectors, to allow you to connect to active speakers or an analogue recorder.

Digital output

The SC15 also provides a coax digital output on an RCA connector.

You can connect up to two analogue sources and up to four digital sources to the inputs on the back panel.

Analogue sources

• Connect analogue sources to A1 and A2, using high quality RCA cables.

Digital sources

• Connect digital optical sources to the digital optical inputs D3 to D5 using optical cables.
• Connect a digital coax source to D6, using a digital RCA cable.

You can also connect a USB flash drive to the USB-A input, and a PC or Mac to the USB-B input to use the SC15 as an audio output device for your computer. For more information see Playing music from a drive or music server.

Streaming

You can stream music wirelessly to the SC15 from a mobile phone, tablet, computer, or other Prisma product via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, or via a wired Ethernet connection. For more information see Streaming music from a phone, tablet, or PC.

• Connect the two antennae supplied with the SC15 Prisma to the ANT 1 and ANT 2 sockets on the back panel, and position the two antennae at a slight angle from the vertical.

The antennae are used for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity.

For best results we recommend connecting the SC15 Prisma MK2 to your network using an Ethernet cable.

Alternatively, if it’s more convenient you can connect via Wi-Fi, in which case you can skip this step.

• Connect the cable between your router or switch and the LAN port on the back panel of the SC15 Prisma.

• Plug one end of the mains cable supplied with the SC15 into the power connector on the back panel, and connect the other end to a wall socket.

If this cable is not suitable for your power outlets please contact your supplier for an alternative cable.

Note: See Phase for information about getting the best sound from your SC15.

WARNING: Always disconnect the SC15 from the mains power before connecting or disconnecting any cables.

• Switch on the SC15, using the switch on the back panel.

To switch on from standby

• Press on the front panel or remote control.

The display shows:

PRIMARE

The first time you start up the SC15 Prisma MK2 you will be prompted to specify how you want to connect to the network:

For best results we recommend connecting via cable.

You can change this setting at any time using Network mode on the Network menu; see Network mode.

Connecting via an Ethernet cable

To connect via an Ethernet cable:

• Select Cable.

Using an Ethernet cable connection provides immediate access to your network, and the front-panel display will show LAN in its lower right corner to indicate that a connection is established.

If the front-panel display shows Setup mode make sure your Ethernet cable is connected and it has a network connection.

To take advantage of Chromecast built-in related features and functionality – such as casting, voice control, and multi-room/multi-zone configuration and control – you must configure the SC15 using the Google Home app, with a Google account.

• Make sure Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled on your mobile device.
• Install the free Google Home app on your mobile device.
• Open the Google Home app and follow the instructions for setting up the SC15 Prisma MK2 on your network in the Chromecast Built-in Quick Start Guide, or the brief description below:

The Google Home app will display Set up SC15 Prisma.

• Click SET UP and follow the instructions.

The front-panel display will show:

Configure network

A test tone will be played and you will be prompted to select a name for your SC15.

If you cannot hear the test sound you may need to increase the volume on your amplifier.

• Enter an appropriate name.

Once you have configured the SC15 using the Google Home app the Configure network message will disappear from the front-panel display.

You will now be able to stream music to your SC15.

To disconnect from the Ethernet network

• Remove the Ethernet cable.

Connecting via Wi-Fi

To connect via Wi-Fi:

• Select WiFi.

When the SC15 is ready to be set up via Wi-Fi the front-panel display will show:

Setup mode

You can connect to Wi-Fi either by using the iOS AirPlay speaker setup, the Android Prisma app, or the Google Home app.

To take advantage of Chromecast built-in related features and functionality – such as casting, voice control, and multi-room/multi-zone configuration and control – you must configure the SC15 using the Google Home app, with a Google account.

AirPlay speaker setup

• Go to the Wi-Fi menu under Settings on your iOS
  device.
• Select the Prisma model you want to set up under SET UP NEW AIRPLAY SPEAKER at the bottom of the list.
• Select the Wi-Fi network you want your SC15 Prisma MK2 to connect to and select Next.
• Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the setup.

Prisma Android app

• Open the Android Prisma app and follow the instructions at the link in the discovery page.

Google Home app

• Make sure Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled on your mobile device.
• Install the free Google Home app on your mobile device.
• Open the Google Home app and follow the instructions for setting up the SC15 Prisma MK2 on your network in the Chromecast Built-in Quick Start Guide, or the brief description below:

The Google Home app will display Set up SC15 Prisma.

• Click SET UP and follow the instructions.

The front-panel display will show:

Configure network

A test tone will be played and you will be prompted to select a name for your SC15 Prisma MK2.

• Select the Wi-Fi network your SC15 should connect to.

Once you have configured the SC15 using the Google Home app the Configure network message will disappear from the front-panel display.

To disconnect from the Wi-Fi network

Either:

• Select Wi-Fi settings for the SC15 Prisma MK2 in the Google Home app.
• Select Forget this network.

Or:

• Reset the SC15 to its factory defaults; see Factory reset.

To view and change the SC15 Prisma MK2 settings you need the Primare Prisma app. For iOS devices this is available for free download from the Apple App Store. For Android devices this is available for free download from the Google Play Store.

In either case search for Primare Prisma to find the app.

WiSA, which stands for Wireless Speaker and Audio, is an audio standard that wirelessly transmits multichannel, high-definition audio to loudspeakers. It supports up to eight channels of uncompressed digital audio at 96kHz, 24bit resolution.

The SC15 Prisma MK2 includes built-in support for WiSA, allowing you to deliver a stereo audio signal to loudspeakers without the need for the usual loudspeaker cables.

The audio is transmitted using the license-free 5 GHz band, and it avoids interference by using dynamic frequency selection (DFS) to change channels when necessary.

This page describes how to set up WiSA speakers for use with the SC15 Prisma MK2 using either the SC15 settings menus, or the Primare App.

Communication

The communication between the SC15 and WiSA speakers is at 96kHz, 24 bits. Other sample rates up to and including 192kHz are converted to 96kHz. WiSA can only convert sample rates up to 192kHz 24bit. Sample rates above 192kHz will be silent on WiSA, but audible on the analogue RCA output.

WiSA does not support DSD format, so it is converted to PCM before being output; however, DSD format from the USB-B PC/MAC input will be silent on WiSA speakers, but audible on the analogue RCA output.

Speaker types

WiSA speakers can be labelled in the WiSA software, and sometimes on the physical speaker itself, with one of the labels: FR (front right), C (centre), FL (front left), SR (surround right), SL (surround left), SBR (surround back right), SBL (surround back left), or SUB (subwoofer).

Unlabelled speakers are not preprogrammed to any channel and need to be assigned to a channel.

In the SC15 a speaker labelled as FR will pair as Right (R), a speaker labelled as SUB will pair as Sub (S), and all other speakers including unlabelled speakers will pair as Left (L). You can change these pairings as described below.

If the WiSA module is ON in the Speaker Settings menu the WiSA module will always start up when you turn the SC15 on, and the display will show:

It will then connect to the associated speakers. The display will show if your unit was unable to find any of your previously associated speakers.

WiSA will be shown in the display once the WiSA module is on and has found and connected to WiSA speakers.

We recommend that you connect your WiSA speakers before you do the SC15 Prisma MK2 setup.

To set up one R and one L speaker

If you have one speaker labelled FL and one labelled FR they will be associated correctly automatically with the following procedure:

• Make sure all your speakers are turned on and in associate mode, usually indicated by a flashing light on the speaker.
• Press and hold the SPS (Speaker Pairing System) button on the back panel of the SC15 for three seconds.

The display will show:

Scanning for WiSA speakers

This will turn on the WiSA module and add all available WiSA speakers.

It will then show a notification of all the speakers it found:

1 R output is associated

Your speakers are now set up to the SC15 and ready to play.

To set up two unlabelled speakers

If you have two unlabelled speakers they will both pair as L speakers. You then need to change the association of the Right speaker as follows:

• Make sure only the speaker you want to use as the Right speaker is turned on and in associate mode, usually indicated by a flashing light on the speaker.
• Press and hold the SPS (Speaker Pairing System) button on the back panel of the SC15 for three seconds.

The display will show:

It will then show a notification of all the speakers it found:

• Go to the option ASSOCIATED WISA SPEAKERS in the WISA SETTINGS menu and change the associated speaker to Right.
• Turn on the speaker you want to use as the Left speaker and make sure it is in associate mode, usually indicated by a flashing light on the speaker.
• Select the ADD SPEAKER option in the WISA SETTINGS menu.

The notification should now show the additional entry:

1 R output is associated 
1 L output is associated
 
 

Your speakers are now set up to the SC15 and ready to play.

To set up 2-way speakers

Some makes of speakers, called “2-way speakers”, will appear as two WiSA devices per speaker:

• Identify which of the two devices should play as Right and configure them appropriately.
• Likewise, identify which of the two devices should play as Left and and configure them appropriately.

Your speakers are now set up to the SC15 and ready to play.

You can also set up your WiSA speakers using the Primare App. We recommend that you connect your WiSA speakers before you do the SC15 Prisma MK2 setup.

• Select the SETTINGS panel.
• Expand the Speaker settings section of the menu.
• Select the WiSA Settings option.

The WiSA settings screen is displayed:

The following options are available:

To enable or disable the WiSA module or network

• Press WiSA module or WiSA network if you want to disable or enable the module and/or network.

To add or remove WiSA speakers

• Press Add WiSA speakers or Dismiss WiSA speakers to add or remove speakers from your configuration.
• To dismiss a single speaker press Dismiss speaker when configuring the speaker.

To configure the WiSA speakers

• Press WiSA speaker configuration to configure the speakers in your configuration.

The following instructions are displayed:

The following screen then represents each of the speakers in your configuration:

To identify each speaker

• Press and hold the speaker symbol; a sound will be played through that speaker to identify it.

To change the position of a speaker

• Drag the speaker’s icon and drop it into the new position.

For example, you can move the Right speaker and position it in the Left position.

To adjust the speaker levels

• Press the Speaker levels button.
• Press the head icon at the listening position, and then select the speaker you want to adjust:

Noise will be produced from that speaker.

• Adjust the level with + and – buttons.
• Press Finished to save the changes when you’ve finished.

To configure the subwoofer

If you have a subwoofer in your system, click its icon on the WiSA configuration screen.

The following screen lets you set the low pass filter, distance, and polarity:

• Press Lowpass to select the low pass filter from a pop-up menu.
• Press Distance to set the distance from the listening position to the speaker, in metres:

• Press Polarity to set the polarity, choosing the setting that produces the best sound.
• Press Finished to save the changes when you’ve finished.

WiSA module does not start up.

• Go to WISA SETTINGS in the GENERAL SETTINGS menu and make sure the WiSA module is on.

Unable to connect to speakers

• Make sure your speakers are WiSA certified.
• Make sure your speakers are connected to power.
• Make sure your speakers are in associate mode.
• Select ADD SPEAKERS.

If above does not help and you are unable to find any speaker please contact a Primare store for service support.

If your device finds some but not all of the speakers

Please contact you speaker manufacturer for support.

Speakers are very quiet

If you feel that you need to turn up the volume a lot for your speaker to output any sound, your speaker may be missing WiSA certified firmware. Please contact your speaker manufacturer for support.

No sound from associated speakers

• Make sure the speaker is associated to your device.
• Make sure your Primare device is not muted
• Make sure WISA MODULE is set to ON and WISA NETWORK is set to ON.
• Make sure the ANALOG OUTPUT setting is set to PRE (LINE mutes the WiSA output).
• Make sure the SPEAKER MUTE setting is set to OFF (ON mutes the WiSA output).

If there is still no sound out:

• Make sure that your Primare device outputs sound both on analog and digital out.

Please note that when playing on the PC/MAC input, if you play a sample rate above 192kHz the sound will not be output on WiSA.

If there is no sound from the digital output please contact your local Primare store for service support.

To move a loudspeaker between WiSA networks

• Dismiss the speaker from the WiSA network, and then add it to the second network.

SC15 Prisma MK2 provides both automatic Room EQ (equalisation), and Manual EQ, using functions included in the Prisma app. The EQ function can be used with any iOS or Android mobile device; iOS devices can use their own built-in microphone, but Android devices require the use of the Zen microphone described below.

Notes:

Automatic Room and Manual EQ is available for the SC15 Prisma MK2 only and not the original SC15 Prisma.

Automatic Room or Manual EQ is applied to WiSA speakers and analogue outputs, but not the digital output.

Room EQ

Room EQ automatically creates an equalisation profile for the listening room. It uses a one minute measurement sequence during which pink noise is played through the speakers while you move a microphone around the room in large circular motions. The EQ function then calculates an appropriate equalisation profile to compensate for the room characteristics, and applies it to the speakers.

Since the room impacts the lower frequencies the most, the compensation will correct the bass range below 500Hz. However, full frequency data is captured during the measurement process so that the low-frequency output is aligned with the high-frequency output, providing a naturally even response within the room at the listening position.

The Room EQ function can use the iOS microphone on iOS devices, or a Zen Wireless microphone, available separately, on both Android or iOS devices.

Manual EQ

The Manual EQ function allows you to define custom filters and apply them to the sound from the SC15.

It is possible to have both Room EQ and Manual EQ activated at the same time.

Zen Wireless Microphone

The Zen Wireless Microphone is a rechargeable battery powered microphone, making it an ideal calibration tool for collecting room acoustic data when using an Android mobile device. It can also optionally be used with an iOS device.

To select the EQ functions in the Primare App:

• Select the SETTINGS panel.
• Expand the Audio settings section of the menu.
• Select the EQ option.

The EQ screen is displayed:

To select Room EQ:

• Press the Room EQ icon, read the instructions, and click Got it!.

The following page allows you to specify the roll-off frequency of your loudspeakers, from 20Hz to 200Hz:

As a guide, enter 20Hz for large floor-standing speakers, or 100Hz for small shelf or wall-mounted speakers.

• Press the tick button to continue.

The next page allows you to start the Room EQ measurement.

• Press the Begin button to continue.

Any audio you were listening to will be muted, and pink noise will be played through the loudspeakers.

The progress is shown by a bar around the button, and the front panel display of the SC15 Primare MK2 shows:

Calibrating

• Stand 1.5 meters or more away from the speakers.
• Do not get in between the phone/microphone and the speaker.
• Move around the entire room.

The process will take up to 60 seconds but can be stopped after 30 if the entire room has been covered.

When the measurement has finished the measured room characteristic is displayed as a red curve:

• Press the Calibrate button.

The corrected room EQ will be calculated and shown as a green curve on the response graph:

• Press Enable.

The correction is automatically uploaded to the SC15 and applied to the speakers.

The added Room EQ can be changed at any time by clicking the Redo button. For example, if you have changed the furnishings in your room you should recalculate the Room EQ profile.

To activate or deactivate the Room EQ

Either:

• Press the radio button under the Room EQ icon on the main EQ screen.

Or:

• Press Enable or Disable on the Room EQ screen.

Manual EQ allows you to create up to three custom filter presets, according to your own preferences, and apply one of them to the SC15.

On the main EQ screen:

• Press the Manual EQ icon, read the instructions, and click Got it!.

The following screen allows you define up to three presets, each consisting of up to three combined filters:

• Press the + button to create a filter.

The following screen allows you to select the type of filter you want to add. The Filter Type menu gives you a choice of five different types of filter:

The options are explained in the following table:

For the Parametric EQ filter you need to specify the amount of gain or attenuation between -10dB to 10dB, the Q between 0.01 (wide) and 30 (narrow), and the centre frequency between 10 and 20000Hz:

For the Low shelving and High shelving filters you need to specify the shelf frequency between 10 and 20000Hz, and gain or attenuation between -10dB to 10dB:

For the 12dB highpass and 6dB highpass filters you need to specify the cutoff frequency between 10 and 20000Hz:

When you have specified the filter:

• Press Save.

Once each filter has been created it will be shown as an icon at the bottom of the Manual EQ page. You can create up to three filters, and their combined effect will be shown by the curve on the Manual EQ page:

To disable a filter

• Press the radio button on its icon.

To delete a filter

• Press the trash button on its icon.

To save the filters as a preset

• Hold down the preset button for the preset number you want to define, and confirm by selecting YES to the prompt Replace existing data.

The Manual EQ page will then show the preset you have defined, and it will be applied to the SC15:

To activate or deactivate the Manual EQ preset

• Press the radio button under the Manual EQ icon on the main EQ screen.

Warning!

Because the Manual EQ function allows you to create arbitrary filters there is a risk that you could create signals that exceed the levels that your loudspeakers are designed to withstand for normal sources. Increase the filter gain in small steps, and test first at low listening levels.

You can view and change the SC15 settings from the front panel, remote control, or using the Prisma app.

To display the main SC15 Prisma MK2 SETTINGS menu

• Simultaneously press the and buttons on the front panel, or press the MENU button on the remote control.

The main SC15 MK2 SETTINGS menu is displayed:

To step between menus

• Press the or buttons on the front panel or remote control.

The current selection is shown highlighted.

When you reach the bottom of the menu the settings will scroll up, and your position in the whole menu is shown by the scroll bar to the right.

To select a menu

• Press the SELECTOR button on the front panel or the SELECT button on the remote control.

The following main menus are available:

To exit from the settings menus

• Simultaneously press the or buttons on the front panel, or press the MENU button on the remote control.

To change a setting

• Press the SELECTOR button on the front panel or the SELECT button on the remote control.

The current value is shown highlighted.

• Press the or buttons on the front panel, or the  or  buttons on the remote control, to change the value of the setting.

As you change it the new value is shown in the menu.

• Press the SELECTOR button on the front panel or the SELECT button on the remote control to save the value you have set.

To navigate back or cancel editing a setting

• Press and hold the SELECTOR button on the front panel, or press the  button on the remote control.

The INPUT menu allows you to customise the inputs to suit the sources in your system.

Initially the INPUT menu will show the settings for the input you previously had selected; for example:

Alternatively you can edit the INPUT option to select another input.

ALIAS

Allows you to give the source a name; eg RADIO.

• Highlight the ALIAS item then press the SELECTOR button on the front panel, or the SELECT button on the remote control.

The RENAME INPUT menu is displayed:

• Press the or buttons on the front panel, or the  or  buttons on the remote control, to select the first letter.
• Press the SELECTOR button on the front panel or the SELECT button on the remote control, to select it.

After adding each character you have the options:

                  CLEAR ALIAS

where CONFIRM shows the alias you have entered so far.

• Select ADD NEW CHARACTER to add further letters, up to a maximum of six characters.
• Select CONFIRM when you have entered the alias you want.

STATUS

Choose between ENABLED (default) or DISABLED to specify whether the input is enabled.

AUTO-SENSE

Choose between: OFF (default) to disable automatic switching, SELECT to automatically select an input containing an audio signal if the SC15 is on; or WAKE+SELECT to automatically wake up the SC15 from standby, if necessary, and select an input containing an audio signal.

VOLUME

Choose between VARIABLE (default) or FIXED to specify whether the input should have variable or fixed gain.

FIXED is 0dB gain, equivalent to volume setting 66, and will override MAXIMUM VOLUME in AUDIO SETTINGS.

Selecting FIXED will show a loud-volume warning. Select YES to proceed or NO to cancel the fixed gain setting.

Fixed gain functions as an SSP (Surround Sound Pass-through) allowing the SC15 to be used as an amplifier in a multi-channel system setup

INPUT GAIN

Choose between: -30dB to -1dB, 0dB (default), or +1dB to +30dB to set the gain for the selected input.

Note: If the gain is set too high on an input clipping may occur.

The SPEAKER menu allows you to set up WiSA speakers and the analog crossover:

WiSA SETTINGS

Displays the WiSA SETTINGS submenu:

WISA MODULE: Set to ON to turn on the WiSA module, or OFF to turn it off. The subsequent options only appear if WiSA MODULE is set to ON.

When you turn WiSA on the message WiSA initiating… is displayed, and the WiSA module will pair with any speakers that are ready for pairing.

WISA NETWORK: Set to ON to broadcast to your WiSA associated speakers or OFF to stop broadcasting. You can also toggle this setting by pressing the SPS button on the back panel.

ADD WiSA SPEAKER: Adds speakers to your WiSA network without dismissing previous speakers.

ASSOCIATED WISA SPEAKER: Shows all speakers associated with your WiSA network and identifies the speakers as R (right), L (left), or SUB (subwoofer):

Speakers are sorted according to their WiSA MAC address.

DISMISS ALL SPEAKERS: Removes all the speakers from your WiSA network, and puts the speakers in associate mode.

Selecting a speaker displays the options: REASSIGN OUTPUT to allow you to reassign it between R, L, or S, and DISMISS FROM NETWORK to allow you to dismiss that speaker.

ANALOG CROSSOVER

SPEAKER TYPE: Can be set to LARGE (default), SMALL for speakers that will not handle bass, or SUBWOOFER for speakers that only handle bass.

If SPEAKER TYPE is set to SMALL or SUBWOOFER a CROSSOVER option is shown:

CROSSOVER: For speakers defined as SMALL allows you to set a high-pass filter, which removes lower frequencies. For speakers defined as SUBWOOFER allows you to set a low-pass filter, which removes higher frequencies. The crossover can be set to between 40 Hz (default) and 300 Hz in 10 Hz steps.

The AUDIO menu allows you to customise the balance, start-up volume, maximum volume, and mute volume.

BALANCE

Allows you to adjust the balance between 00LR-9 (far left), 00LR00 (centred, default) and -9LR00 (far right).

DEFAULT VOLUME

Displays a DEFAULT VOLUME submenu to allow you to specify the initial volume when you bring the SC15 out of standby. There are the following options:

DEFAULT VOLUME: Can be set to LAST USED (default) to leave the volume set to the last used volume, or SPECIFIED to specify a default volume.

If you chose SPECIFIED:

SPECIFIED VOLUME: Sets the default volume to between 0 and 60. The default is 20.

MAXIMUM VOLUME

Sets the maximum volume limit between 0 and 99. The default is 99.

MUTE VOLUME

Sets the volume when the SC15 is muted. You can choose between 0 (default) and 30.

If the current volume is lower than the specified MUTE VOLUME, the volume will be set to 0 when pressing mute.

ANALOG OUTPUT

Choose PRE (default) to set the analogue output to variable, or LINE for a fixed 0dB output. If set to LINE the speaker type is automatically changed to LARGE. For safety the setting reverts to PRE after the power is disconnected.

SPEAKER MUTE (WiSA ONLY)

This setting allows you to mute the speaker output of SC15, while leaving the analog RCA outputs active. This allows for headphone listening using a headphone amplifier connected to the RCA outputs with the WiSA speakers muted. Additionally, LINE output can be selected when volume is controlled at the headphone amp or PRE output when you want to control volume from SC15.

Choose between OFF (default) to leave SPEAKER MUTE deactivated, or ON to activate SPEAKER MUTE. When activated, the letters “SM” will be shown in front of the current volume in OLED display. When deactivated, “SM” will disappear and volume will return to DEFAULT VOLUME setting.

Press and hold the MUTE button on C25 remote control to toggle the SPEAKER MUTE setting.

The GENERAL menu allows you to configure the general operation of the SC15:

REMOTE MODE

Choose between SC (default) or PRE to specify whether the SC15 will respond to commands from the C25 remote as the SC device or PRE device.

SHOW INPUTS

Choose between ALL (default), to show all inputs, or WITH SIGNAL, to show only inputs that have a signal.

FRONT PANEL

Choose LOCKED to lock the front panel buttons, or UNLOCKED (default) to use them.

To unlock the front panel buttons use the remote control to select this menu, or remove power from the SC15 for a few seconds.

AUTO-DIM

Allows you to choose the delay for dimming the front-panel display after no user interaction, between: AFTER 1MIN, AFTER 5MIN, AFTER 10MIN (default), or OFF.

STANDBY SETTINGS

Displays the STANDBY SETTINGS menu to allow you to specify the standby settings.

STANDBY MODE: can be set to ECO to reduce the standby consumption to less than 0.5W, but only allows the SC15 to wake from the analogue and digital inputs, or NORMAL which also allows the SC15 to wake from streaming and the PC/MAC input.

AUTO-STANDBY: automatically switches the SC15 to standby if there is no user interaction or audio from the current source for a specified delay: AFTER 10MIN, AFTER 15MIN, AFTER 20MIN (default), or OFF.

Note: The AUTO-STANDBY function will be disabled if the network has not been set up.

FACTORY RESET

Resets the SC15 to the factory default settings.

You are prompted to confirm. Select YES to proceed or NO to cancel.

FIRMWARE VERSIONS

Displays the FIRMWARE VERSIONS menu to allow you to view the versions of firmware installed.

Allows you to configure the SC15 streaming options:

METADATA

Allows you to choose ON (default) or OFF to specify whether metadata, such as the artist name and song title, should be displayed. Metadata is available for the streaming sources apart from Bluetooth.

BLUETOOTH SETTINGS

Displays the BLUETOOTH SETTINGS submenu with the following options:

VISIBLE: Can be set to ON to make the SC15 visible to other Bluetooth devices, or OFF (default) to make the SC15 not visible.

Note: VISIBLE allows any Bluetooth-enabled device within range to discover and pair with your SC15.

AUTO-CONNECT: can be set to ON to automatically reconnect to a paired mobile Bluetooth device when the Bluetooth input on the SC15 is selected, or OFF (default) to disable automatic connection.

AIRPLAY PASSWORD

Allows you to set an optional password for connection by AirPlay. Leave empty for no password.

Allows you to configure the network connection:

QUICK INFO

Shows the NETWORK INFO screen with the following information:

• Connection: one of CONNECTED BY WIFI, CONNECTED BY CABLE, or NOT CONNECTED.
• NETWORK, the current SSID.
• IP, the current IP address.
• DEVICE, the device name.
• NET MAC, the network MAC address.
• BT MAC, the current Bluetooth MAC address.

You can also display this information by holding down the i button on the remote control.

NETWORK MODE

Allows you to select between WIFI or CABLE to specify how to connect to the network.
