There are many options for
multi-room/multi-zone playback with Prisma.
Apple AirPlay 2
AirPlay 2 is an update to AirPlay that brings features for grouping compatible speakers from different brands into zones, using Apple’s Home app, with the ability to control them from one device with different music or play the same music on all of them. *AirPlay 2 is currently available in NP5 Prisma and will be available on all Prisma models by future update.
Google Chromecast built-in
Chromecast built-in – allows music to be cast from hundreds of enabled applications like Spotify, Tidal, Qobuz to Chromecast speakers of different brands, and can be grouped together in the Google Home app to play music simultaneously, with flexible multi-room and multi-room connectivity and control from more than one device at a time.
Prisma – Network and Multiroom Technology
Prisma – when playing digital music files from a NAS (network connected hard drive) through the Prisma module, the signal can be sent to any other Prisma product connected to the network.
Roon
Roon – among its many features, Roon is a multi-room system, supporting music playback to one or more zones using multiple platforms, such as AirPlay and Sonos. Roon supports grouped playback on audio-only Chromecast devices via the Google Home app. Using the Google Home app, you can set up groups of devices, which then appear as additional audio devices in Roon alongside the hardware devices.
Spotify
Spotify Connect – is Spotify’s multi-room and multi-zone solution for streaming music to audio components and speakers. Similar brand devices with Spotify Connect are controlled with Spotify’s native app on Android and iOS mobile devices or computers.
