Why are Netflix, YouTube, and other streaming services no longer available with BD32?

Imported from the Zendesk Help Center (created 2025-01-15).

Streaming services like Netflix and YouTube that there were included with the BD32, as well as the OPPO BDP-93 player upon which it is based, are no longer supported due to the age of the related applications installed on the players and with the closure of OPPO Digital in 2019 it is not possible to provide a software update to return those features.

The BD32 MK2 remains capable of using these services, but given the conditions outlined above it may be only a matter of time before the applications installed in that device will no longer be supported.

If these services are important to you, we recommend installing a current Apple TV, Google TV, Amazon Fire, Roku or other media streaming device into your system.
