Using Spotify Connect with Prisma Components

Imported from the Zendesk Help Center (created 2025-12-16).

With Spotify Connect, you can use one device to remotely control listening on another device, such as a Prisma component, noting that all devices need to be on the same WiFi.

To use Spotify Connect

  1. Open Spotify and play something.
  2. Press Connect device icon at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Pick the device you want to play on.

To switch to Lossless playback

Spotify’s Lossless playback feature (up to 24-bit/44.1 kHz FLAC) is an exclusive benefit for users with an active Premium subscription. It is not available on the free, ad-supported tier.

To enable Lossless

  1. Open the Spotify app on your mobile, desktop, or tablet device.
  2. Tap your profile icon in the top left corner.
  3. Navigate to Settings & Privacy → Media Quality.
  4. Select where you want to enable lossless audio: Wi-Fi, cellular, or downloads.

Note – Lossless must be manually enabled on each device you use:

  1. Tap the device icon when listening to a song.
  2. Select a playing device.
  3. Tap Change quality settings.
  4. Select Lossless.

Connect not working?
