Prisma OTA Updates – April 2026

 

We have been quietly releasing Prisma over-the-air (OTA) updates. The rollout started with the lowest impact models to confirm effectiveness before providing the general release. These updates provide bug fixes and improvements resulting from recent software releases.

Key Fixes

This update mainly addresses two issues:

1. Spotify Connect playback stopping after one track
2. Bluetooth logs filling temporary storage and blocking firmware updates

Both issues are resolved in firmware versions 15644 and later.

Additional Improvements

• General bug fixes
• System stability and performance improvements

Should the update fail to complete:

Perform a double factory reset as described below to ensure that old Bluetooth logs are removed and to prevent successive update issues.

15-series Prisma Models

1. Perform the first factory reset 
2. When prompted, select Wi-Fi on the display 
3. Wait for display to show “Setup mode” 
4. Perform a second factory reset 

25/35-series Prisma models 

1. Remove any Ethernet cable 
2. Perform the first factory reset 
3. Wait for display to show “Setup mode” 
4. Perform a second factory reset 
5. Wait for display to show “Setup mode” 

Upon completion of the second reset, you can configure your device to either Wi-Fi or connect Ethernet cable for wired connection.

Fixes

• Removed Bluetooth logs that could fill the partition and block space for firmware updates (resolved from v15644/v15645 onward)
• Added updated Bluetooth and Wi-Fi drivers

Model-Specific Changes

CD15 Prisma (MCU v2.47)

• Fixed issue where volume briefly reset to default before muting when entering standby
• Fixed issue where “System Reboot” could not be triggered from the Prisma app while in standby

I25 / I35 / PRE35 Prisma

• Fixed issue where an unnecessary reboot occurred after factory reset when DM35 module was installed
